My blue, blue bike

That is a photo of my lovely new (used) bike. It's super awesome. It's blue. I love it. My brother helped me buy it used off craigslist. As much as I loved my old bike, this is a big upgrade for me. The new one is significantly lighter and better built. It doesn't rattle quite so much. Nor does it feel like I'm driving a bucket of bricks up the Brooklyn Bridge! It's also a proper street bike, whereas my old bike was a bit of a mountain bike hybrid. It makes a huge difference for my commute. I go up the westside greenway to get to work, and having a fast street bike makes the ride much smoother.

The icing on the cake is the sweet new blue tires we got for it! Nothing like matching tires to make me look super cool as I traverse the streets of the city. The bike is shown here in my brother's apartment / bike repair shop.
